Professional activities My research initially focused on Neurospora ribosomes, then ribosomal RNA genes, then nitrogen metabolism in Candida albicans.

We're currently studying the molecular genetics of the replication of double-stranded RNA viruses found in yeast. At the moment, we are trying to "launch" a viral infection of yeast from DNA plasmids we have transformed into yeast cells, so that we can define the sequences that are important for replication and any interactions with host cell gene products.
